I chose this hotel for attending a synod and was pleased to find that they provided conference space. It was convenient to have all the amenities in one place for our meetings.
One service that I missed for my work was a reliable and fast internet connection. This would have been helpful for staying connected and getting work done efficiently.

Excellent value breakfast, charming staff, and comfortable bed. It's nice to find a hotel with a real "French Feel." The pet-friendly policy was a bonus. The owner's suggestions for dinner were spot on and appreciated.
Absolutely nothing to say about dislikes.

If you're looking for a quirky spot with a charming ambiance, this hotel is a great choice. the staff is friendly and helpful, and the location is convenient, with easy access to public transit and a lovely town within a 10-minute walk. the breakfast is delicious and affordable, and the authentic French feel of the hotel adds to the overall experience. While some bathrooms could use updating, the rooms are comfortable and the furnishings are lovely, making for a pleasant stay.
You may encounter a bit of noise from outside the hotel, so light sleepers might want to bring earplugs.

Good breakfast and comfortable beds. Conveniently located near the train station and a short walk to the town center.
The decor was outdated and frumpy, carpets looked dated and unclean. the shower wasn't very efficient and the overall state of the hotel wasn't welcoming.

Christmas at this hotel was amazing. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. The location was perfect, just a stone's throw away from the train station. The ambiance of the hotel was really unique and quirky, which added to the charm of the place. I especially loved the Scottish-style decor that gave it a homely feel. The food was simply delicious, I absolutely loved the breakfast selection and dinner was equally good. it was a memorable experience and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a cosy home away from home.
Although the hotel's quirky decor is charming, some might find it a bit too old-fashioned and out-of-date. , the rooms were a bit cluttered, with an unusual mix of furniture and accessories that might not appeal to everyone.
